In the previous article, new support for SortCL-compatible jobs in the IRI Voracity data processing ecosystem for ASN.1-encoded data files was introduced. This article takes a more in-depth look through sample jobs demonstrating various use cases, ASN.1 encoding rules, schema files, and the Protocol Data Units (PDUs) involved with data defined in ASN.1 schemas.
“Have you stopped speeding?” You could probably object to a leading question like this in court, but what happens when an important question with only a yes or no answer is solicited on a mandatory form, and the response becomes part of an actionable database record?
The IRI Voracity data management platform now supports the MarkLogic NoSQL database as a source for structured data discovery (classification, profiling, and search), integration (ETL, CDC, SCD), migration (conversion and replication , governance (data cleansing and masking), and analytic (reporting and wrangling) jobs.
There is now a bulk/batch Change Data Capture (CDC) wizard in the IRI Workbench GUI for Voracity, built on Eclipse™. This new graphical report builder compares previous and current data sources based on a flag field you select, and gives you the option of producing five different targets — Cumulative, Delete, Equal, Insert, and Update — or any combination thereof.
