ETL tools specialize in job design and data mapping, but not in large data
movement or transformation. Databases focus on storage and retrieval. Meanwhile,
large sort, join, and aggregation jobs may run
slowly, and subsequent tasks like loading, analytics,
queries or reports may run slowly or require separate passes or products.
Integrating, staging, and cleansing large data in the BI layer (ELT) is also
inefficient. Finally, the ways in which these tools protect
sensitive fields may be inadequate, inefficient, or both.
CoSort solves these
problems by integrating and staging large volumes of data in the file system through a powerful, but simple-to-use fourth generation data manipulation and reporting langage (4GL) program called SortCL.
See how you can use CoSort's SortCL and/or compatible tools to:
If you are interested in how CoSort, and its SortCL
program in particular, can simultaneously: transform fields, records and files;
produce custom detail and summary reports; secure data at risk, or produce
safe test data in your production formats,
