IRI Makes 2021 DBTA List of “Companies That Matter Most in Data”

Florida Big Data Manipulation & Masking ISV Cited for Sixth Straight Year

June 15, 2021 - Melbourne, FL - Innovative Routines International (IRI, a/k/a The CoSort Company), is once again among Database Trends and Applications (DBTA) magazine’s list of 100 “Companies That Matter Most in Data”. The list “showcases forward-looking companies that are improving and expanding upon existing technologies and processes to help their customers use data more effectively.”

“The past 15 months have provided an object lesson for all organizations in the importance of being agile and moving quickly to address new challenges and opportunities, ” writes DBTA Editor-in-Chief Joyce Wells. “The COVID-19 pandemic created even greater urgency to better manage and extract valuable insights from data for companies that were already dealing with expanding regulatory pressures, new data security risks, and burgeoning data volumes,” she added.

Following his “View from the Top” article in the annual issue, IRI Sr. VP David Friedland said that DBTA’s inclusion of the company in this list “reflects our ability to stay at the cutting edge of both the data volume and data security challenges facing our customers worldwide.” According to IDC, >64 zetabytes of data was created or replicated in 2020, and this is growing at a 23% compound annual rate through 2025. “We saw that coming decades ago and it’s why we kept adding functionality to the CoSort engine and the broader Voracity data management platform: to accelerate throughput as well as design time,” he added.

Bloor Research also recently spotlighted IRI Voracity in “InBrief” reviews that covered its data integration and wrangling performance, as well as its ability to classify, discover, mask, subset, and synthesize PII for test data management, breach nullification, and data privacy law compliance initiatives. Through its component software products and graphical facilities in Eclipse, the IRI Voracity platform performs and combines these essential operations for data big and small, on-premise and in the cloud:

  • Data Discovery (Profiling, Classification, Search)
  • Data Integration (ETL, MDM, CDC)
  • Data Quality (Validation, Cleansing, Enrichment)
  • Fast, Consolidated Data Transformations
  • Embedded BI and Data Wrangling for Analytic Tools
