DBTA Names IRI DarkShield a 2019 Trend-Setting Product
PII Masking Tool for Unstructured Files a Top 100 Data Management Technology
Melbourne, FL - January 14, 2019 - Innovative Routines International (IRI), Inc. (www.iri.com), a leading provider of big data management and data-centric security software, announced that its new data masking product, DarkShield, has been named a Trend-Setting Product for 2019 by Database Trends and Applications (DBTA). This marks the fourth consecutive year that IRI software products have made the list.
The list, "DBTA Trend-Setting Products for 2019," recognizes products in the marketplace that are both innovative and effective in helping customers address evolving data challenges and opportunities. In all, 100 products were highlighted in the special December 2018 edition of Database Trends and Applications magazine, and on the DBTA website.
DBTA described DarkShield as a product that “consolidates and multi-threads the search, remediation, extraction, and reporting of sensitive data in unstructured files sitting in multiple formats and folders across a network, and provides a single, user-friendly interface to do everything at once or in scheduled steps.” IRI released the first two versions of DarkShield in 2018, and is working on the third release to address more unstructured file formats.
