Leading Data Manipulation ISV Teams with Proven Hadoopers on "Voracity"

Melbourne, Fla. (March 12, 2015) - Innovative Routines International (IRI), Inc. (The CoSort® Company), and PT. Dua Empat Tujuh (Solusi247) of Jakarta, have formed a joint technology venture to augment IRI's emerging Voracity™ data integration and management platform with optional Hadoop engine deployments. In addition to CoSort v10's SMP engine, big data transformation and protection workloads will run in parallel across multiple commodity servers using MapReduce, Spark, Storm, or Tez engines.

The companies' collaboration dates back to 2003 when they used the term 'big data' to refer to telco customers' huge call detail record files being transformed in CoSort's Sort Control Language (SortCL) program for billing and analytic data warehouses.

"As the largest country in southeast Asia, Indonesia has massive telco data processing requirements. We deploy both CoSort and Hadoop solutions to exceed our customers' production SLAs and budgetary requirements," noted Solusi247 CEO Beno Pradekso.

Today's announcement represents the next generation of technical and business partnership between IRI and Solusi247. IRI's comprehensive data integration, migration, governance, and analytic platform project, “Voracity” is built on both CoSort and Eclipse™, and will leverage IRI’s existing data transformation, mapping, masking, reporting, and test data generation interfaces. According to IRI Business Development VP David Friedland, "Solusi247's Hadoop extensions to Voracity will bring unprecedented levels of processing performance for big data sources in a transparent, affordable way for end users."

Solusi247 will exhibit initial prototypes of their HGrid implementations of IRI CoSort at CeBIT in Hannover, Germany next week. Then along with IRI’s representative from France, they will officiate the memorandum of understanding before the Indonesian ambassador to Belgium in Brussels on 23 March.
